The Psychosocial Aspects In Robotics

Welcome to PAIR

The Psychosocial Aspects In Robotics (PAIR) Lab is an international collaborative research consortium that was originally founded by Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research in India and Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand.

The PAIR Lab focuses on developing design principles, psychometric analysis and technologies for social robots. Particularly, the Lab aims to study the multidisciplinary aspects of robotics involving engineering and psychological aspects of design, development, and evaluation methods. Our goal is to advance scientific understanding and recognition of relevant psychosocial factors in the development of robots and during people’s interactions with robots in wider society. Our vision is to establish an international multidisciplinary network to support cutting-edge research and education. The PAIR Lab is extremely keen and value collaborations with academic and industries and are interested to discuss new ideas with partners across the globe.
